WIT? Reveal
Last week you tried to identify objects in pictures that I posted. Thank you to all who joined in and took a guess. Some of you have way more imagination then any one person should be allowed to have. Petey and Yvette, you two are putting a little too much sugar in your Kool-Aid. Eze, Aniyah, and Adaliyah, I enjoyed your youthful perspectives. Skip, thank you for putting such tremendous effort into your guesses. I wanted to be sure my Darrel did not have an unfair advantage for he walks by these items every day. He watched me photograph some of them, but still could not guess what they were. I was thinking to myself, “Does he even live here?” SMH (Maybe one day he will notice that Idris Elba has been living in our guest room LOL)
Okay, so here we go. And the winner is…. drum roll please….. first place prize goes to…… nobody….. hahahaha. You gave it your all but, nary one of you guessed all five objects. For guessing four of the objects correctly, T-shirts will be sent to DeRel and EJ. DeRel being the Extra-Xtra person that he is, was the only one who guessed #5 correctly.
Now for the big reveal.
#1 Basketball Net. Most of you guessed this one correctly. If you said basketball hoop you were close enough. Congrats to: Linda H, Eze, Taylor, Adaliyah, Yvette, Tanya, EJ, Linda BH, Petey, Skip, Kahlilah, Aniyah, Kev, Bella, Evan, and Bella-C. DeRel and Darrel you two were close, but not close enough!
#2 Car Headlight. Darrel did not guess this correctly and it is the jacked-up headlight on his car. Congrats to: EJ, Bella, Evan, and DeRel. Eze, great guess of boiling water. Taylor and Tanya’s glass/cup condensation were great guesses too. What’s with both of the Linda’s guessing sponges? Yvette’s guess of the inside of a rubber ball makes me wonder about her.
#3 Car door handle. My car ‘Lil Ruby.’ Congrats to: Linda H, Taylor, Tanya, EJ, Linda BH, Petey, Kahlilah, Aniyah, Kev, Bella, Evan, and DeRel. Adalilyah, Yvette and Bella-C all guessed a telephone. Will someone please call them. I think they are lonely!
#4 Outside fire pit. Check out the shadow from the bushes in the back ground. Looks like a black panther stalking around the yard! Congrats to: Taylor, Tanya, EJ, Kev, and DeRel. Good guesses Aniyah and Eze. Evan, yes you have passed it a billion times. According to Linda BH, decorative pillows in New Orleans are rusty looking. LOL
#5 Reusable straws in a glass container. I store mine in a Texas Pete hot sauce bottle. The cleaning brush sits in the top without falling through. Congrats to DeRel who guessed metal straws in a mason jar. That was an excellent guess Extra!! Eze, another great guess from you of a golden pipe. Taylor, Linda H, and Kahlilah were all feeling musical and Bella wanted to burn something with it. Petey and Yvette saw something otherworldly here. Maybe repressed memories from when they were abducted by aliens.
We really enjoyed this. Your participation and comments are always greatly appreciated. On our upcoming trip I will get out and take lots of pictures. Look for another “What is this?'“ post at the end of the summer.
